The Law
Jul 8th
The sun may be clouded, yet ever the sun
Will sweep on its course till the cycle is run.
And when onto chaos the systems are hurled,
Again shall the Builder reshape a new world.
Your path may be clouded, uncertain your goal;
Move on, for the orbit is fixed for your soul.
And though it may lead into darkness of night,
The torch of the Builder shall give you new light.
You were, and you will be: know this while you are,
Your spirit has travelled both long and afar.
It came from the Source, to the Source it returns;
The spark that was lighted, eternally burns.
It slept in the jewel, it leaped in the wave,
It roamed in the forest, it rose in the grave,
It took on strange garbs for long eons of years,
And now in the soul of yourself it appears.
From body to body your spirit speeds on;
It seeks a new form when the old one is gone;
And the form that it finds is the fabric you wrought
On the loom of the mind, with the fibre of thought.
As dew is drawn upward, in rain to descend,
Your thoughts drift away and in destiny blend.
You cannot escape them; or petty, or great,
Or evil, or noble, they fashion your fate.
Somewhere on some planet, sometime and somehow,
Your life will reflect all the thoughts of your now.
The law is unerring; no blood can atone;
The structure you rear you must live it alone.
From cycle to cycle, through time and through space,
Your lives with your longings will ever keep pace.
And all that you ask for, and all you desire,
Must come at your bidding, as flames out of fire.
Once list to that voice and all tumult is done,
Your life is the life of the Infinite One’
In the hurrying race you are conscious of pause,
With love for the purpose and love for the cause.
You are your own devil, you are your own God,
You fashioned the paths that your footsteps have trod;
And no one can save you from error or sin,
Until you shall hark to the spirit within.

World Cup 2010
Jun 26th
Well, with a total event goal count of 145, the World Cup hosted by South Africa – the first African nation to host a world cup, comes to an end -with Spain emerging as winners!!
Soccer fans world wide look forward to the 2014 next World Cup in Brazil.
What a World Cup. Brazil/France/Italy/Nigeria/England/Argentina etc. are out! I cant really predict who might win the cup.

Quater finalists: Germany, Spain, Uraguay and Netherlands.

The West African nation – Ghana defeats USA 2:1, as they advance further in this years World Cup. I’m impressed by the effort and how far this Ghanian team displayed this year. Disappointing lose for Africa as a whole, but penaly shots can go either way.
Spain defeats Portugal 1:0
Brazil defeats Chile 3:0

Rocky..
Mar 22nd
One of my best movies has to be Rocky – very very inspirational. I just rewatched Rocky V – know most of the songs by heart. And the acting by Sylvester Stallone and Talia Shire who acted as Connie Corleone in the Godfather as well as Rocky’s wife -Adrian Balboa is so impressive.
Similar movies to me include:
- Million dollar baby - Clint Eastwood/Morgan Freeman, Hilary Swank.
- Crash
Heres a related video.
Aliaune Badara Akon Thiam…
Mar 2nd
aka Akon -Senegalese American R&B singer.
This is one Artist who’s music l enjoy – especially his entire Freedom album, “Mama Africa” – from the Konvicted album.
Lyrics – Mama Africa:
So much so much love
So much
So tell me can you feel it?
So much so much yeah
you know
Then make that visit
So much so much love
So much
Senegal can you feel it?
So much so much yeah
So much
[Chorus:]
So much love to share
Pure blackness, wantness is so rare
So much love to care
Let them know they’re missin’ out
Mama Africa
So much love to share
Sweet blackness, oneness
Meet me there
So much love to care
Let them know they missin’ out
Sing again
A
This is for all the love
And the life took away
F
Don’t forget we were bought and trade
R
ripped from the land and shipped away
I
Is the inspiration we use to survive
C
Have to see it with your own cries
A
No play add it up and arrive
Still you don’t know
The land is so gold and green
The place is so fresh and clean
And everyday I water my garden
Tell me if you feel it deep in your heart
This place is so cool and nice
Visit once, guaranteed to visit twice
And if you just believe in the most high
I know you’ll be all right
[Chorus]
A
That’s my favorite place when I need to get away
F
Must forget but we can’t forget to pray
R
Like Lance ridin’ on the runway
I
In my homeland and I’m feelin’ so alive
C
Imagine Africa unite
A
Gonna accept mass alright
Still you don’t know
Skin is so dark and brown
She lifts me right off the ground
But no you not gonna see it on you TV
So just listen up and believe me
Her trees have the only cure
Her love is so new and pure
Had to kiss them troubles goodbye bye
No I don’t have to lie
mama Africa, unite
[Chorus]
So much so much love
So tell me can you feel it
So much so much
Then make that visit
So much so much love
Senegal can you feel it
So much so much
Ow!
So much love to share
I just can’t see how we’re livin’ without it
So much love to care
Don’t miss don’t miss one moment about it
So much love to share
Resist this bliss though I really doubt it
So much love so much love to share
Oh yeah
[Chorus]
Ella Wheeler Wilcox…

CIRCUMSTANCE
Talk not to me of souls that do conceive Sublime ideals, but,
deterred by Fate And bound by circumstances, sit desolate, And long for heights they never can achieve.
It is not so. That which we most desire, With understanding, we at last obtain, In part or whole.
I hold there is no rain, No deluge, that can quench a heavenly fire.
Show me thy labour, I straightway will name The nature of thy thoughts.
Who bends the bow, And lets the arrow from the strained string go, Strikes somewhere near the object of his aim.
We build our ships from timbers of the brain; With products of the soul we load the hold;
Where lies the blame if they bring back no gold, Or if they spring a leak upon the main?
There is no Fate, no Providence, no Chance, The will is all. So be it thou art pure,
And strong of purpose, thy success is sure; But fools and sluggards prate of circumstance. Yesterdays.

Check out the recently announced cool new Google phone – Nexus one. This might be the iPhone killer phone, especially with its apps, 800×480 wvga amoled touch display, gsm support, android os and Qualcomm QSD 8250 1 GHz processor.
Unlocked or with a contract, your best bet for getting it is from t-Mobile, since this phone does not woork on at&t, verizon or sprint frequency band but it supports most common world-wide gsm bands.
Click here for the Nexus One homepage, and here for the technical specifications.
