Internet search on google for my first school located in Kano, Nigeria – came up positive with a link to the schools website as well as pictures of my 2 principals – St. Brigette Burke and Ms Elizabeth Major . Completed nursery, then primary classes 1 to 6, then moved onto high school – called secondary school there – at Federal Government College, Kano. Schools there then as l know, were based on the British system, since Nigeria was colonized by the British. We got our independence in October, 1960.
